I am a writer, poet, and musician whose work is rooted in themes of place, identity, and the interior rhythms of everyday life.

My primary instrument is the lowly autoharp. My collection includes two diatonic harps – an Evoharp in G/D and a custom Bowman (the Bee!) in F/C, a chromatic d'Aigle Cascade, two prizms – a d'Aigle TLC and a revamped modern Oscar Schmidt, and a vintage Oscar Schmidt. I need to design a bumper sticker that reads, Ask me about my Autoharps!

In addition to the autoharp, I dabble in fiddle, singing saw, shruti box, theremin, and whatever other noisemaker I can find.
